Many of my online friends have started a blog...I have mixed emotions about this because like many...I'm not sure how many people are interested in my daily blabbering LOL. So at this point I'm going to set mine up with the intent to share information for those that love to wear jewelry, create jewelry or simply just like some inspiration :) - so look for posts about the latest designs, specials, or simply happy thoughts or quotes. Last night my husband and I went out for dinner. I wanted to wear my recent Vintaj design (my entry from the Family Tree) - it looked really good and felt wonderful on. Vintaj antiqued brass has a warm chocolate look and is so pretty. Well - I didn't have any earrings (Vintaj is a brand new supplier for me and I just got in my first order)...but I have a few pieces left of things that I had randomly purchased on Etsy...so in a quick moment I made these earrings...something I was visualing but had to improvise and used the end of a clasp...I took this quick snapshot before heading out. I used the 45mm ear wires - mainly because my hair is shoulder length...and you could see them swinging around :).I took precautions and bent the ear wire together and adjusted the closure. And despite being lightweight - I wasn't really worried that I'd lose my drops...so I'm sitting at the restaurant and I go to my husband so do you like my earrings and he looks at them and goes ummm...yeah - they're different and I'm thinking crud he doesn't really but he's being nice. I get home, pass a mirror and all that's left on one of my earrings is a swirl LOL! No wonder he said ummmm...! Well I was thinking - ok I wasn't dancing or standing on my head...but if I had more time before I left, I probably would have closed off the inner curl of the swirl - or placed a small spacer bead or crimp near the end so it didn't slip off. Anywhoo...my bigger plans for this design is to create my own S swirl with 18 or 20 gauge wire, hammered down and probably will highlight with some colorful Ranger inks! Well - that's all for today - don't expect a daily post because I lead a colorful life and am not the most disciplined person haha.Have a great upcoming weekend!

Vintaj antiqued brass has a warm chocolate look and is so pretty. Well - I didn't have any earrings...but I had a few pieces left over from things purchased on Etsy (while awaiting my first order with Vintaj)...so in a quick moment the below earring were done by improvising on my vision (I used a swirl clasp instead of creating my own and hand-hammering it).I used the 45mm ear wires - mainly because my hair is shoulder length...and you could see them swinging around :). I took precautions and bent the ear wire together and adjusted the closure so as not to lose the swirl and drop. And despite being lightweight - I wasn't really too worried that I'd lose the lower drop! So I'm sitting at the restaurant and I go to my husband so do you like my earrings and he looks at the one side and goes ummm...yeah - they're different and I'm thinking CRUD...he doesn't really like them but is being nice. I get home, pass a mirror and all that's left on one of my earrings (the one I showed Tom) is a swirl LOL! No wonder he said ummmm...! Well I was thinking - ok I wasn't dancing or standing on my head...but if I had more time before I left, I probably would have closed off the inner curl of the swirl - or placed a small spacer bead or crimp near the end so it didn't slip off. Anywhoo...my bigger plans for this design is to create my own S swirl with 18 or 20 gauge wire, hand hammer some designs and flatten the piece and then probably highlight them with some colorful Ranger inks! Well - that's all for today - don't expect a daily post because I lead a colorful life and am not the most disciplined person haha.Have a great upcoming weekend!</isc:description>
