A Note from the designer & owner...
The artistic world has always been a major inspiration in my life. Although I've been professionally designing and selling jewelry for almost three decades, my career path has definitely been an evolution of personal choices...college (Bachelor of Music), Marriage, children, geography (have moved over a dozen times), and many job titles (from Executive Assistant and Tax Para positions, to a variety of Management positions in Retail, Marketing and Public Relations). Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching a multitude of creative classes, writing articles for paper & online companies, making TV appearances for art, craft, home decor - and have been affectionately tagged the "Jackie" of all trades. Aside from family & jewelry, my creative pastimes include watercolor painting, reading, computer, and "playing with fire" - as in creating glass beads in an open flame - otherwise known as "Lampworking". We've recently updated our online worlds to include Etsy, Artfire, and Facebook - look for links on our Home page.
My design inspirations often come from the color and sights of nature, as well as current (and classic past) fashion & trends. Much time and attention go into the jewelry designs and Altered Art Wood Tile/Scrabble focals/beads...with beautiful color choices, quality of components, and excellence in the finishing details. You'll find styles ranging from classic and traditional, to the fun, funky, and bold. My personal and business philosophy can be summed up in two of my favorite sayings…
