Designer Components...for your Jewelry & Craft Projects In late 2010, we returned to our "roots" of incorporating a variety of fine art and craft techniques while building upon a popular trend that started in the mid 2000's that involved the repurposing of products such as game tiles (Scrabble/Domino tiles) - and the result...a new line of Wood and Brass components called "ART Tiles" The history? J-Lynn's ART tiles were created in part due to her quest to create something unique and her commitment to create a special Talisman for a person that was battling Cancer. After weeks of looking for a special focal piece...JLynn decided to create her own utilizing her fine art techniques with Faux-painting, decoupaging and scrapbooking all rolled into one. The result was the completion of this beautiful Talisman necklace... From there...inspiration grew and took over in a riot of color, shapes & textures! JLynn is known not only for her Jewelry, but ART tiles that feature some of her Watercolor paintings - as well as a variety of other Artists work, Emphemera images, Vintage fabrics & postcards, and lots of fun contemporary digital images and art. |
